CIGARETTE LIGHTER (accessory) AND ASH TRAY ● Use this power socket with the engine running. (If the engine is stopped, this could result in a discharged battery.) ● Avoid using when the air conditioner, headlights or rear window defogger is on. ● Before inserting or disconnecting a plug, be sure the electrical accessory being used is turned off. ● Push the plug in as far as it will go. If good contact is not made, the plug may overheat or the internal temperature fuse may blow. ● When not in use, be sure to close the cap. Do not allow water to contact the socket. AIC0509 CAUTION The cigarette lighter socket is a power source for the cigarette lighter element only. The use of the cigarette lighter socket as a power source for any other accessory is not recommended. WARNING The cigarette lighter should not be used while driving so full attention may be given to vehicle operation. The cigarette lighter element is an accessory. A genuine NISSAN cigarette lighter can be purchased from an authorized NISSAN dealer. The cigarette lighter operates when the ignition switch is in the ACC or ON position.
