MAINTENANCE Clutch Check Clutch Lever and Cable 1. Squeeze the clutch lever toward the handlebar and release it. It should move freely and smoothly and should return to its rest position quickly when released. 2. Lubricate the clutch lever pivot and cable (page 107) if necessary, or at intervals listed in the Periodic Maintenance Interval Table on page 85). 3.
