INSTRUMENTS, FEATURES AND CONTROLS Indicator Lights Low Oil Pressure Indicator The low oil pressure indicator illuminates when engine oil pressure drops below safe operating pressure. If this indicator illuminates while the engine is running, turn the engine off immediately and check the oil level. Add oil if necessary. If the oil level is correct and the indicator remains illuminated after the engine is restarted, turn the engine off immediately. The low oil pressure indicator also illuminates when the ignition switch is in the ON position and the engine is not running. This demonstrates that the indicator is functioning properly. Low Fuel Indicator The low fuel indicator illuminates when approximately 0.8 gallons (3.03 liters) of fuel remains in the fuel tank. The low fuel indicator also illuminates momentarily when the ignition switch is in the ON position and the engine is not running. This demonstrates that the indicator is functioning properly. Neutral Indicator The neutral indicator illuminates when the transmission is in neutral. It also illuminates momentarily when the ignition switch is in the ON position and the engine is not running.
