INSTRUMENTS, FEATURES AND CONTROLS Ignition Key The ignition key operates the ignition switch and the saddlebag locks. Steering Lock The motorcycle is equipped with a steering lock to deter others from moving or using the motorcycle. The steering lock is on the right side of the steering head. To lock the steering, turn the handlebars fully to the left and open the lock cover. Insert the key and turn it clockwise. To unlock the steering, move the handlebars to the left or right slightly and turn the key counterclockwise. Always remove the key after locking or unlocking the steering. WARNING Moving or operating the motorcycle with the steering locked severely restricts steering and can cause loss of control. 1 1. Steering Lock 36

IgnitionKey

SteeringLock
