COMPONENT IDENTIFICATION Engine Identification Number The engine identification number is a combination of the engine model and serial numbers. The engine identification number is located on top of the crankcase behind the rear cylinder. The engine serial number is stamped into the rear of the crankcase just to the right of the oil filter. You may need the engine identification number to title, register, license or insure the motorcycle, or to order replacement parts. Ignition Key Number The ignition key identification number is stamped into the shaft of each key. With the ignition key number and proof of ownership, an authorized VICTORY dealer can assist you in obtaining a replacement key (have your dealer reference Voice of VICTORY April/May 2001).
