PRE-OPERATION CHECK Check Tires Tire Pressure Normal riding warms the tires and increases the tire air pressure. For an accurate reading, check the tire pressure before you ride. Adjust tire pressure as required for the total weight of your intended load. Refer to the tire pressure table on page 118. Tire Condition Inspect the tire sidewalls, road contact surface, and tread base for cuts, punctures, and cracking. Replace damaged tires immediately (see the VICTORY Service Manual or an authorized VICTORY dealer). Tread Depth Raised areas at the base of the tread, known as wear bars, act as easily visible tread depth indicators. See page 119. When the road contact surface has worn to the top of the wear bars, replace the tire. 59

TirePressure
Normal riding warms the tires and increases the tire air pressure. For an accurate reading, check the tire pressure
before you ride. Adjust tire pressure as required for the total weight of your intended load. Refer to the tire pressure
table on page 118.
TireCondition
Inspect the tire sidewalls, road contact surface, and tread base for cuts, punctures, and cracking. Replace damaged
tires immediately (see the
VICTORY Service Manual
or an authorized VICTORY dealer).
TreadDepth
Raised areas at the base of the tread, known as wear bars, act as easily visible tread depth indicators. See page 119.
When the road contact surface has worn to the top of the wear bars, replace the tire.
