MAINTENANCE Saddlebag Removal and Installation Hard Saddlebags 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Remove the two (2) upper saddlebag mounting screws located inside the saddlebag. Pull trim straight outward to expose wiring harness connector. Disconnect the wiring harness connector. Disengage bracket on bottom of bag from muffler bracket and remove bag. Inspect the plastic bushings on the lower bag mounting bracket and replace if worn. To reinstall the saddlebag, engage bottom of bag into bracket on muffler. Reconnect the wire harness and trim, and install all spacers and fasteners in their original location. Bag Mount Torque: 18 ft-lbs (25 Nm) 1 1. Upper Mounting Bolts 2. Remove Trim 3. MAINTENANCE
Saddlebag Removal and Installation
Hard Saddlebags
1.
Remove the two (2) upper saddlebag mounting screws located inside the saddlebag.
2.
Pull trim straight outward to expose wiring harness connector.
3.
Disconnect the wiring harness connector.
4.
Disengage bracket on bottom of bag from muffler bracket and remove bag.
5.
Inspect the plastic bushings on the lower bag mounting bracket and replace if worn.
6.
To reinstall the saddlebag, engage bottom of bag into bracket on muffler. Reconnect the wire harness and trim,
and install all spacers and fasteners in their original location.
Bag Mount Torque:
18 ft-lbs (25 Nm)
