OPERATION Driving Safely Driving Procedures 1. Sit upright. Keep your feet on the footrests. Keep both hands on the handlebars. 2. Start the engine and allow it to warm up, then shift the transmission into gear. 3. Check your surroundings and determine your path of travel. 4. Slowly squeeze the throttle lever toward the handlebar to begin driving. Squeeze the throttle lever further to increase speed. 5. Drive slowly.
