MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION Adjustments Brakes (Rear) Periodically measure the freeplay of the rear brakes. To adjust rear brake freeplay, turn the adjuster nuts (A) at the rear brake drum. .40″-.80″ (10-20 mm) A Brake Lever Travel (Rear) Service the brakes when brake lever travel reaches 2 1/2″ (65 mm).
