16 www.aeg.com 9.1 Trivet and Grill- / Roasting pan To roast larger pieces of meat or poultry on one level, put the trivet in the grill- / roasting pan so that the supports point up. To grill flat food items in large quantities and to make toast, put the trivet in the grill- / roasting pan so that the supports point down. Put the grill- / roasting pan in the oven at the necessary level. WARNING! Be careful when you remove the accessories from a hot appliance. There is a risk of burns. 9.2 Core temperature sensor The core temperature sensor measures the core temperature of the meat. When the meat is at the set temperature, the appliance deactivates. There are two temperatures to be set: • The oven temperature. • The core temperature. Only use the core temperature sensor supplied with the appliance or genuine replacement parts. 1. Put the tip of the core temperature sensor into the centre of the meat. 2. Activate the appliance. 3. Put the core temperature sensor plug into the socket on the front of the appliance. The display shows the core temperature sensor symbol. 4. Press or in less than 5 seconds to set the core temperature. 5. Set the oven function and, if necessary, the oven temperature. The appliance calculates an approximate end time. The end time is different for different quantities of food, the set oven temperature (minimum 120 °C) and the operating mode. Trivet and Grill- / Roasting pan
To roast larger pieces of meat or poultry
on one level, put the trivet in the grill- /
roasting pan so that the supports point
up.
To grill flat food items in large quantities
and to make toast, put the trivet in the
grill- / roasting pan so that the supports
point down.
Put the grill- / roasting pan in the oven at
the necessary level.
WARNING!
Be careful when you remove the
accessories from a hot appliance.

Core temperature sensor
The core temperature sensor measures
the core temperature of the meat. When
the meat is at the set temperature, the
