Playback starts from the first track. * track number * elapsed playing time Basic operation To stop Press •STOP/OFF/CHARGE. To pause Press HI PLAY/PAUSE. To resume, press again. To search for the beginning of a track Press 144 or NH. To locate a desired passage Keep 144 or lk.N pressed. Release the button at the start of desired passage. E•A•S•S PLUS (Electric Anti-Shock System) The E•A•S•S PLUS function reduces skipping or muting of the sound when the unit is subjected to shocks. The player keeps about 10 seconds of playback sound in its memory. Set the E•A•S•S switch to ON. The unit keeps 10 seconds in memory. To cancel the E•A•S•S PLUS function, set the E•A•S•S switch to OFF. 12
