93 Running the SCSISelect Utility To start SCSISelect, press Ctrl+A when the following is displayed during powerup or reset: This message appears after BIOS and POST information displays, and after the banner listing the Adaptec AIC-7899 version number. SCSISelect Utility Options When the SCSISelect utility detects the AIC 7899 SCSI controller in your computer, it displays an Options menu. In the Options menu, use the ↑ and ↓ keys and the Enter key to make selections in the SCSISelect utility. Press Esc at any time to return to the previous menu. You can press F5 to toggle the display between color and monochrome modes. (This feature may not work on all monitors.) Configure/View Host Adapter Settings Menu The Configure/View Host Adapter Settings menu lists three settings under SCSI Bus Interface Definitions and three additional options. Advanced users can access Boot Device Options, SCSI Device Configuration, and Advanced Configuration Options. Use the cursor (↑ ↓) to move to your selection. Press Enter to display a pop-up menu of choices or to make selections. Press Esc at any time to return to the previous menu.
