58 Chapter 4 BIOS Utility Parameter IDE primary channel master and slave IDE secondary channel master and slave Description Option These items let you select the IDE hard disk parameters that your system supports. Auto enables BIOS to automatically detect the parameters of installed HDDs during the POST (power-on self-test). If you prefer to enter HDD parameters manually, select User. Select None if no HDD is connected to the system. The IDE CD-ROM is always automatically detected
