ç w w w w Installing the Software Driver for SCO UnixWare In this Chapter ® Installing the Array1000U2 Driver for UnixWare 6-2 This chapter explains how to install the AAA-131U2/133U2 software driver (cda1000) for SCO UnixWare 7.0. Before installing the driver, make sure you have completed the following: s Installed the AAA-131U2/133U2 in your system. (See Chapter 2) s Created the first array using the ARRAYCONFIG U2 utility, if you plan to boot from an array. (See Chapter 3) Once UnixWare and the driver are installed, install Adaptec CI/O Management Software from the server 's X Window (CI/O is required for array management in order to provide the proper level of fault tolerance and event notification). Refer to the Adaptec CI/O Management Software User's Guide for instructions on installing and using the software. 6-1
