Optionally adds an instance of the symbol to the document. Example The following command adds a new graphic symbol called text to the library and places an instance of it in the document: fw.getDocumentDOM().addNewSymbol("graphic", "text", true); dom.addNewText() Availability Fireworks 3. Usage dom.AddNewText(boundingRectangle, bInitFromPrefs) Arguments boundingRectangle A rectangle that specifies the bounds within which to place the new text box (see "Rectangle data type" on page 8). bInitFromPrefs If bInitFromPrefs is false, the default values for all style properties are used. If it is true, the most recent values set by the user are used. Returns Nothing. Description Adds a new empty text block within the specified bounding rectangle.
