When your answering machine memory is full and the answer mode is in ANS&REC mode, the answer mode will change to ANSONLY automatically, and will not allow callers to leave messages, but will still answer incoming calls after the pre-set number of rings, to allow remote access. It will change back to ANS&REC mode automatically after some messages have been deleted. 9.5.9 Call Screening When the answering machine answers a call, the base will start call screening automatically and you will be able to hear the OGM and the incoming caller. Adjust the base volume control, if necessary. You cannot screen a call from a cordless handset. At any time if you want to pick up the call, you can press on the handset and the message recording will be stopped automatically. If the answering machine is in the process of recording, the message already stored will be saved. 57
