Microphoneboom relocation Tosuityour personalpreference,the Headset boomcanbemovedfromoneearcupto the other.Thisrequirestheuseofa smallscrewdriverand canbe accomplishedas follows: 1. Removetheheadbandcoverbyextendingtheheadbandto maximumheight. Unsnapeachendof theheadbandcover and peelapartthe Velcroseam. 2. Removetheboomfromtheclipbypulling the boomdown just infrontof theclip to snap it out (seeFigure 10). 3. Usea smallscrewdrivertoremovethe screw holdingthe clip. Thescrewisheld captivebyanSting.whichmustbein placefor the assemblyto work correctly. 4. Usingthesamescrew,fastentheclip tothe otherearcup(seeFigure 11). Be sure theE-ring is inplaceand seated.The angledfaceof the clipshouldbepositionedtowardthe rear.Tightenthescrew untilit bottoms.Donotcontinuetotighten. Frictioninturningthis screwensuresthat thescrewdoes notloosenover time. 5.
