English CHAPTER 5 MAINTENANCE CHAPTER 5 MAINTENANCE REPLACING THE TONER CARTRIDGE The printer includes a starter toner cartridge which is expected to yield 1,000 pages. (This may vary depending on the area where the printer is purchased.) With a new replacement toner cartridge (TN-100 or TN-100HL), the printer can print up to 3,000 pages. When the toner cartridge is running low, the TONER LOW message appears on your computer screen. Fig. 5-1 Toner Low Indication  Note After the first toner low indication, you can print about 100 pages. It is recommended that you always keep a new toner cartridge ready to use in case you get the toner low warning. Installing a new toner cartridge should eliminate the toner low indication. 5-1

REPLACING THE TONER CARTRIDGE
The printer includes a starter toner cartridge which is expected to yield
1,000 pages. (This may vary depending on the area where the printer is
purchased.) With a new replacement toner cartridge (TN-100 or
TN-100HL), the printer can print up to 3,000 pages.
When the toner cartridge is running low, the TONER LOW message
appears on your computer screen.
