Section 9. Maintenance 9.3 Repair 424 Figure 135: Remove and replace battery Remove the lithium battery by gently prying it out with a small flat point screwdriver. Reverse the disassembly procedure to reassemble the CR3000. Take particular care to ensure the back cover is seated tightly before replacing the retainer screws. Occasionally, a CR3000 requires repair. Consult with a Campbell Scientific applications engineer before sending any product for repair. Be prepared to perform some troubleshooting procedures while on the phone with the applications engineer. Many problems can be resolved with a telephone conversation. If a repair is warranted, the following procedures should be followed when sending the product. Products may not be returned without prior authorization.
