Saving and Loading Personal Function Settings You can save the specified Personal Function settings on your computer as a Personal Function settings file and then load the saved Personal Function settings file and apply the settings to the camera. Saving the Settings on Your Computer 1 Click the [Save as] button. ¿ The [Save As] dialog box appears. 2 Select the destination folder, enter the file name, and then click the [Save] button. ¿ The specified Personal Function settings are saved to the computer as a Personal Function settings file. The Personal Function settings file is not compatible with a camera other than the one the function was set. O If you load a Personal Function settings file saved on your computer and make changes to it, you can update the loaded file by clicking the [Save] button. O Personal Function settings file saved in your computer is compatible with both Windows and Macintosh. Loading the Settings Saved on Your Computer 1 Click the [Open] button. ¿ The [Open] dialog box appears. 2 Open the folder containing the settings, select the file, and then click the [Open] button. ¿ The saved Personal Function settings file is loaded. 3 Click the [OK] button. ¿ The loaded settings are applied to the camera, the [Personal functions] dialog box closes, and the display returns to the basic settings window. ¿ When a Personal Function is applied to the camera, < > appears on the LCD panel.
