Ethernet port

 Connect the Ethernet cable to the rear of the scanner. o The scanner controller communicates with the printer over the network. (The printer must be installed on the network, on-line and ready for the system to be able to Copy). If the printer is NOT on the network, use a direct Ethernet cable connection from the scanner to the printer, but this is not the preferred connection as the system will not be able to Scan to PC as well as Copy to the printer. o iPF printer connections Ethernet port USB port  Connect the power cable to the rear of the scanner and connect the power supply to the mains. Connect the Ethernet cable to the rear of the scanner.
