Making Copies in the Manual and Vocal Mode 1 If you want to use voice recognition, press the Voice Recognition button © say "adjust basic level." 2 4 Set the copy exposure. G To manually set the copy exposure using the Manual mode: ❑ Press (Back) to move the indicator between [ ] or [ ] to the left to make the exposure lighter. ❑ Press (Next) to move the indicator to the right to make the exposure darker. The voice guide informs you of the position of the indicator (from -4 to +4). Example: If the indicator is in the middle (the Standard setting), and you press (Next), the indicator moves to the right. You will hear the voice guide say, "plus 1." 2-62 Basic Copy Settings
