Before You Start Using This Product 1 NOTE Voice Navigation messages cannot be heard using the internal speaker of the machine.You must use the external speaker 1 of the voice unit to be able to hear Voice Navigation messages. Take note of the following when using the microphone: •The microphone can be adjusted at a 180º angle from the front of the machine to the back. •The tip of the microphone (black part) can be bent. Adjust the position of the microphone to ensure that you can comfortably and easily speak into it. •Adjust the position and length of the microphone so that the tip of the microphone is close to the mouth (approximately 5 7/8" (15 cm) away) of the user who is speaking into it. •Adjust the microphone so that it directly faces your mouth when speaking into it.
