Customizing Settings 1 NOTE •The timeout period can be set from 0 to 10 seconds in one second increments. •If the timeout period is set to '0', the timeout period is not set. •If the Manual and Vocal mode is set, 4 voice recognition cannot be started by pressing when the machine is in the mode for entering numeric values. 5 Press (Confirm). If you want to use voice recognition, press the Voice Recognition button © say "confirm" to set the number of seconds for the timeout period. 6 Press (Confirm), or press the Voice Recognition button © say "confirm" or "close" repeatedly until the Regular Copy Basic Features screen appears. 4-44 Setting the Voice Recognition Timeout Period
