Microsoft Small Business Server 2000 Installation Instructions for Compaq Prosignia and ProLiant Servers 13 Upgrade Considerations Compaq recommends creating a backup of your server's configuration before attempting to perform an upgrade. If your Compaq server's configuration includes Microsoft SBS 4.5 and you want to upgrade to Microsoft SBS 2000, you can follow one of two paths as recommended by Microsoft: (1) in-place upgrade or (2) migration upgrade.
