Section 2 - Installation To Disable ADSL Dialup • Press the Down-Arrow key • Use the Right-Arrow key to select Disable DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) DHCP allows the network administrator to distribute IP addresses when a computer is plugged into a different place on the network. If your ISP provides a static IP address, you must disable DHCP and enter the IP address provided.
