Section 3 - Configuration DHCP Server Settings The DWR-512 has a built-in DHCP (Dynamic Host Control Protocol) server. The DHCP server assigns IP addresses to devices on the network that request them. By default, the DHCP Server is enabled on the device. The DHCP address pool contains a range of IP addresses, which is automatically assigned to the clients on the network. After modifying any settings, click Save Settings to save your changes. Enable DHCP Server: Select this box to enable the DHCP server on your router. DHCP IP Address Enter the range of IPs for the DHCP server to use to Range: assign IP addresses to devices on your network. DHCP Lease Time: Enter lease time for IP address assignments. Primary DNS IP Enter the primary DNS IP Address that Address: will be assigned to DHCP clients. Secondary DNS IP Enter the secondary DNS IP Address that Address: will be assigned to DHCP clients. Primary WINS IP Enter the primary WINS IP Address that Address: will be assigned to DHCP clients. Secondary WINS IP Enter the secondary WINS IP Address that Address: will be assigned to DHCP clients.
