PS6210 Install and Setup Guide 5 Storage Allocation Step 3: Configure iSCSI Access Field Description What kind of access type do you want for this volume? Allows you to set the access controls for the volume. Select the radio button for the type of access you want: • Copy access controls from another volume (Table 9) • Select or define access control policies • Define one or more basic access points • None (do not allow access) Do you want to allow simultaneous access to this volume from more than one iSCSI Default is No. Select Yes to permit the volume to allow simultaneous access from initiators with different IQNs. initiator? Alt+V Displays the properties of the access control for the selected volume. This information helps you choose which volume's access controls to copy to the new volume. Select the radio button for Access Policies or Access Policy Groups to change the list. None Step 4: Sector Size Field Description Sector Size You can create volumes that use either 512-byte or 4KB sectors. The sector size of a volume has no dependency on the sector size of the physical drives in the array.
