Procedure 1 Peel off the tape that secures the fan cable to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 2 Disconnect the fan cable from the system board. 3 Peel off the tape that secures the I/O-board cable to the fan. 4 Remove the two screws (M2x3) that secure the fan to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 5 Lift the fan off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. Prerequisites
Remove the
base cover

Procedure
1
Peel
off
the tape that secures the fan cable to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2
Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
3
Peel
off
the tape that secures the I/O-board cable to the fan.
4
Remove the two screws (M2x3) that secure the fan to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
5
Lift the fan
off
the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
