Procedure 1 Peel off the tape that secures the I/O-board cable to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 2 Open the latch, and disconnect the I/O-board cable from the I/O board. 3 Disconnect the fingerprint-reader board cable from the I/O board. 4 Remove the two screws (M2x3) that secure the I/O board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 5 Lift the I/O board off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. Prerequisites
Remove the
base cover

Procedure
1
Peel
off
the tape that secures the I/O-board cable to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2
Open the latch, and disconnect the I/O-board cable from the I/O board.
3
Disconnect the
fingerprint-reader
board cable from the I/O board.
4
Remove the two screws (M2x3) that secure the I/O board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
5
Lift the I/O board
off
the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
