Installing the system board

Steps 1. Disconnect the touchscreen cable from the system board. NOTE: This cable is only available on computers that support touch option. 2. Disconnect the camera cable from the system board. 3. Disconnect the backlight cable from the system board. 4. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board. 5. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board. 6. Disconnect the microphone-module cable from the system board. 7. Disconnect the media-card reader cable from the system board. 8. Open the latch and disconnect the power-button board cable from the system board. 9. Disconnect the display cable from the system board. 10. Remove the six screws (M3x5) that secure the system board to the display-assembly base. 11. Remove the solid-state drive screw mount (M3x4) that secures the system board to the display-assembly base. 12. Lift the system board off the display-assembly base. Open the latch and disconnect the power-button board cable from the system board.
9.
Disconnect the display cable from the system board.
10.
Remove the six screws (M3x5) that secure the system board to the display-assembly base.
11.
Remove the solid-state drive screw mount (M3x4) that secures the system board to the display-assembly base.
12.
Lift the system board off the display-assembly base.
