Defining STP Global Parameters Using CLI Commands The following table summarizes the equivalent CLI commands for defining STP global parameters as displayed in the Spanning Tree Global Settings page. STP Global Parameter CLI Commands CLI Command Description spanning-tree Enables spanning tree functionality. spanning-tree mode {stp Configures the mode of the spanning tree | rstp | mstp} protocol. spanning-tree priority Configures the spanning tree priority. priority spanning-tree hello-time Configures the spanning tree bridge Hello seconds Time, which is how often the device broadcasts Hello messages to other devices. spanning-tree max-age seconds Configures the spanning tree bridge maximum age. spanning-tree forwardtime seconds Configures the spanning tree bridge forward time, which is the amount of time a port remains in the listening and learning states before entering the forwarding state. 276 Configuring Switch Information
