The redundant power supplies in Dell PowerEdge 6350 systems are controlled by the power-supply paralleling board. The two indicators on the top of the power supply (see Figure 7-5) signal the status of each power supply. Both indicators light briefly during initial system start-up to show that the indicators are functioning. The green status indicator stays on to show that the power supply is operating normally. The red fault indicator turns off after initial system start-up is complete.
