The Enclosure ID (EID) or Device ID (DID) may change after a restart Description Applies to When external storage enclosures are connected to a HBA355e adapter, the EID and DID may change either when the sever is restarted or when the SAS drive is hot-pushed or hot-pulled. The EID and DID fields are displayed in the PERC CLI output when using the UEFI or OSs (Linux and Microsoft Windows). This is a known issue and has no impact on the performance. HBA355e Adapter VendorID and ProductID for external tape drives Description Applies to When tape drive is connected to Dell HBA355e Adapter, the VendorID is displayed as Dell and ProductID is displayed as Non-vSES in all management interfaces. HBA355e Adapter VendorID and ProductID for internal tape drives Description Applies to When a tape drive is connected to Dell HBA355i Adapter or Dell HBA350i Adapter, the VendorID is displayed as DP and ProductID is displayed as BP15G in all management interfaces. HBA355i Adapter and HBA350i Adapter System reserved partition after Windows installation Description Applies to After the Windows operating system is installed, a system reserved partition may be created other than the drive you have selected.
