10.10 Connect VMs to VDS and port group In this example, VM network adapters are associated with the VDS and applicable port group. 1. Go to Home > Hosts and Clusters. 2. Right click on a VM, VM-1614-1 in this example, and select Edit Settings. 3. Next to Network adapter 1, select on the drop-down arrow and select Show more networks. 4. Select the applicable port group and VDS from the list. In this case, VNI-1614-PG on Mgmt-VDS is selected as shown: Port group and VDS selected 5. Click OK to make the selection. 6. In the Edit Settings window, Network adapter 1 appears as shown: Virtual wire on App-Tier network selected 7. Click OK to apply the setting. The network adapter on the VM is now connected to VLAN/VNI 1614. Connect VMs to VDS and port group
In this example, VM network adapters are associated with the VDS and applicable port group.
1. Go to
Home > Hosts and Clusters
.

Right click on a VM,
VM-1614-1
in this example, and select
Edit Settings
.
3. Next to
Network adapter 1
, select on the drop-down arrow and select
Show more networks.

Select the applicable port group and VDS from the list. In this case,
VNI-1614-PG
