NOTE: To avoid data loss, do not remove the solid-state drive while the computer is in sleep or on state. 2. Remove the base cover. Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the 2230 solid-state drive to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 2. Slide and remove the solid-state drive from the M.2 slot one. Installing the 2230 solid-state drive in M.2 slot one If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
