Procedure 1 Using the alignment posts, place the battery-status light cable with microphones on the palm-rest assembly. 2 Route the battery-status light cable with microphones through the routing guides and adhere it to the palm-rest assembly. 3 Adhere the tape that secures the battery-status light cable with microphones to the palm-rest assembly. 4 Slide the battery-status light cable with microphones into the connector on the keyboard-controller board and close the latch to secure the cable. 5 Adhere the tape that secures the battery-status light cable to the keyboardcontroller board. Post-requisites 1 Replace the battery. 2 Replace the base cover. 42

Procedure
1
Using the alignment posts, place the battery-status light cable with microphones
on the palm-rest assembly.
2
Route the battery-status light cable with microphones through the routing
guides and adhere it to the palm-rest assembly.
3
Adhere the tape that secures the battery-status light cable with microphones to
the palm-rest assembly.
4
Slide the battery-status light cable with microphones into the connector on the
keyboard-controller board and close the latch to secure the cable.
5
Adhere the tape that secures the battery-status light cable to the keyboard-
controller board.
