Procedure 1 Slide the palm-rest assembly under the display hinges and align the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly with the screw holes on the display hinges. 2 Replace the four screws (M2.5x4) that secure the palm-rest assembly to the display hinges. 3 Close the palm-rest assembly. 4 Connect the display cable to the system board. 5 Align the screw holes on the display-cable bracket with the screw holes on the system board. 6 Replace the two screws (M2x3) that secure the display-cable bracket to system board. 7 Adhere the tape over the display-cable bracket. 8 Route the display cable through the routing guides on the fan. 9 Connect the media-card reader cable to the I/O board. 10 Adhere the tape that secures the display cable to the fan and the I/O board. 11 Replace the screw (M1.6x3) that secures the display cable to the I/O board. 12 Connect the antenna cables to the wireless card. 13 Align the screw hole on the wireless-card bracket with the screw hole on the system board. 14 Replace the screw (M2x3) that secures the wireless-card bracket to the system board. 15 Adhere the tape that secures the antenna cables to the system board. 16 Connect the touchscreen cable (optional) and camera cable to the system board. 60

Procedure
1
Slide the palm-rest assembly under the display hinges and align the screw holes
on the palm-rest assembly with the screw holes on the display hinges.

Replace the four screws (M2.5x4) that secure the palm-rest assembly to the
display hinges.

Close the palm-rest assembly.

Connect the display cable to the system board.

Align the screw holes on the display-cable bracket with the screw holes on the
system board.

Replace the two screws (M2x3) that secure the display-cable bracket to system
board.
7
Adhere the tape over the display-cable bracket.
8
Route the display cable through the routing guides on the fan.
9
Connect the media-card reader cable to the I/O board.
10
Adhere the tape that secures the display cable to the fan and the I/O board.

Replace the screw (M1.6x3) that secures the display cable to the I/O board.
12
Connect the antenna cables to the wireless card.
13
Align the screw hole on the wireless-card bracket with the screw hole on the
system board.
14
Replace the screw (M2x3) that secures the wireless-card bracket to the system
board.
15
Adhere the tape that secures the antenna cables to the system board.
16
Connect the touchscreen cable (optional) and camera cable to the system
board.
