Remove the battery. Procedure 1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board. 2. Remove the two screws (M2x1.7) that secure the left and right speakers to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 3. Note the speaker-cable routing and remove the cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 4. Lift the left and right speakers, along with their cables, off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 34 Removing the speakers

Prerequisites
1.
Remove the
base cover
.
2.
Remove the
I/O-board interposers
.
3.
Remove the
battery
.
Procedure
1.
Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
2.
Remove the two screws (M2x1.7) that secure the left and right speakers to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3.
Note the speaker-cable routing and remove the cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
4.
Lift the left and right speakers, along with their cables, off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
