NOTE Buttons other than these cannot be operated. Multi-zone Operations Turning the Power On and Off GOperation on the main unitH Press for the zone to be operated. GOperation on the remote control unitH Press [ZONE2 ON] or [ZONE2 OFF]. When using ZONE2, it is possible to turn the power for the MAIN ZONE only on or off by pressing [MAIN ON] or [MAIN OFF]. Selecting the Input Source GOperation on the main unitH Press , then turn . GOperation on the remote control unitH Set [SOURCE CONTROL 1] to "AUDIO" and [SOURCE CONTROL 2] to "ZONE2". Press [SOURCE SELECT]. Adjusting the Volume Set [SOURCE CONTROL 1] to "AUDIO" and [SOURCE CONTROL 2] to "ZONE2". Press [VOLUME]. [Variable range] - - - -70dB ~ -40dB ~ +18dB The ZONE2 volume can be adjusted only when "ZONE2" is selected at "System Setup" - "Option Setup" - "Amp Assign" (vpage 28). Turning off the Sound Temporarily Set [SOURCE CONTROL 1] to "AUDIO" and [SOURCE CONTROL 2] to "ZONE2". Press [MUTING]. b To cancel, either adjust the volume or press [MUTING] again. The setting is canceled when the zone's power is turned off. The source selected for ZONE2 is also output from the recording output connectors. NOTE Digital audio signals input from the COAXIAL or OPTICAL connectors cannot be played in multi-zone.
