Printer Setup Menu Settings Settings on the Printer Setup menu let you run print quality adjustment utilities. Caution: Follow the instructions in the topic links below the table to use these menu settings correctly. Setting Head Alignment Options - Offset Head Alignment -10 to +10 Feed Adjustment -1.00% to +1.00% Description Select to run the head alignment utility to correct grainy or blurry print results by realigning the print head for each platen size; this alignment does not affect your print results if you selected Uni-Directional as the Head Move Direction setting on the USB File List menu Use this setting when you change the platen height but do not want to perform Head Alignment. One stop down on the platen (3 to 4 for example) is equivalent to a +3 setting. You can also use this setting to fine-tune alignments when a spacer pad is used to raise the flat surface of the garment. Select to adjust the platen feed each time the print head moves; select a higher number if dark lines appear or a smaller number if faint lines appear Parent topic: Using the Control Panel Menus Related tasks Aligning the Print Head Cleaning the Print Head Adjusting the Height of the Platen USB File List Menu Settings Settings on the USB File List menu let you print, delete, and control settings for files on a USB memory device connected to the printer. 155
