To set a self clean cycle: 1. Be sure the oven is empty and all oven racks are removed. Remove all items from the oven. Be sure oven door is completely closed. 2. Touch Oven Modes and scroll to Self Clean. 3. Touch Self Clean and select 2 hour, 3 hour, or 4 hour clean time. 4. Press TIMER to start the self clean cycle. 45 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS When the oven is set to run a self-clean cycle, the motor door lock will begin locking the oven door. Do not open the oven door while the lock motor is running or when any locking indicators or displays are showing. The oven door is completely locked in about 15 seconds. Once the oven door has locked, CLEAN will appear in the display indicating self clean has started. Do not force the oven door open when selfclean is active. This can damage the automatic door-locking system. Use caution when opening the door after self-clean cycle is complete; the oven may still be very hot. When the self clean cycle has completed: 1. CLEAN message will turn off, and Hot will appear in display window. The oven door will remain locked while the oven cools. 2. Once the oven has cooled down (about 1 hour) and Hot is no longer displayed, the oven door may be opened. 3. When the oven interior has completely cooled, wipe away any residue or powdered ash with a damp cloth or paper towel.
