5.3 Host Commands • SET MAX FREEZE LOCK (Features Field = 04h) The Set MAX FREEZE LOCK command sets the device to SET_MAX_Frozen state. After the device made a transition to the Set Max Freeze Lock state, the following SET MAX commands are rejected, then the device returns command aborted: − SET MAX ADDRESS − SET MAX SET PASSWORD − SET MAX LOCK − SET MAX UNLOCK − SET MAX FREEZE LOCK • Error reporting conditions (1) The device is in Set Max Locked mode or Set Max Freeze Locked mode (ST = 51h, ER = 04h). (2) A SATA communication error occurred (ST = 51h, ER = 14h).
