Sleep Mode: You will notice that your computer is initially set so that the display turns off after 15 minutes of user inactivity, and the computer goes into Sleep mode after 20 minutes of user inactivity. When going into Sleep mode, the computer also reduces the speed of any active Ethernet network links. To "wake" the computer from Sleep mode, press the Suspend/Resume Button. Energy saving benefits: Fujitsu ENERGY STAR qualified mobile PCs use about half as much electricity as standard equipment - saving half in utility costs. But more than that, ENERGY STAR also makes a difference for the environment. Did you know that the average house can be responsible for twice the greenhouse gas emissions as the average car? That's because every time you flip on a light switch, run your dishwasher, or turn on your PC, you use energy, which means more greenhouse gas emissions from power plants. So the more energy we can save through energy efficiency, the more we help to reduce greenhouse gases and the risks of global warming.
