Ganz GXi Series VCA Interface Manual V3.05.31.18 Virtual Ruler The calibration configuration control supports a virtual ruler. This can be useful for measuring distances along the ground plane to objects of known size such as road lane widths, car park space widths etc. The virtual ruler is effectively a "measurement stick" that measures the distance between two points along the ground plane (not heights). To use the virtual ruler, simply right click anywhere a point on the ground plane to anchor one end of the ruler and select the option from the menu. It is then possible to move the other end of the ruler around the ground plane to measure the distance between the anchor point and the current mouse position.
