Run Dynamics Name Description Average Ground Contact Time The average amount of ground contact time for the current activity. Average Stride Length The average stride length for the current session. Average Vertical Oscilla tion The average amount of vertical oscillation for the current activity. Average Vertical Ratio The average ratio of vertical oscillation to stride length for the current session. Ground Contact Time The amount of time in each step that you spend on the ground while running, measured in milliseconds. Ground contact time is not calculated while walking. Lap Ground Contact Time The average amount of ground contact time for the current lap. Lap Stride Length The average stride length for the current lap. Lap Vertical Oscillation The average amount of vertical oscillation for the current lap. Lap Vertical Ratio The average ratio of vertical oscillation to stride length for the current lap.
