OPERATION Washer pauses in cycle Washer won't operate Possible Causes The washer normally pauses between washing steps Washer is unplugged Water supply is turned off Circuit breaker/fuse is tripped/blown Controls are not set properly Door is open Dispenser drawer is open Motor is overheated Washer won't spin Washer door open Dispenser drawer open Load is too small What To Do • Make sure cord is plugged securely into a working outlet. • Turn both hot and cold faucets fully on. • Check house circuit breakers/fuses. Replace fuses or reset breaker. Washer should have separate outlet. • Check controls and make sure the START or DELAY START button has been pressed. • Close door and press the START button. • Close drawer. • Washer motor will stop if it becomes overheated. It will automatically restart after a cool down period of up to 30 minutes (if washer has not been manually turned off). • Make sure door is closed. • Close drawer. • Add one or two similar items to help balance the load. NOISE Washer is noisy PERFORMANCE Lint or residue on clothes Possible Causes Washer is uneven Washer load is unbalanced High pitch jet engine sound Squealing sound or hot rubber odor Shipping bolts and foam block have not been removed Rattling and clanking caused by foreign objects in tub or pump or metal fasteners hitting tub What To Do • Make sure washer is level and rests firmly on the floor. • Press the PAUSE button to stop the washer, open the door and redistribute the load evenly. Close the door and restart. • This is normal during the spin cycle. • Washer is overloaded. Stop washer and reduce load. • See Installation Instructions for directions to remove shipping bolts and foam block. • Check drum for foreign objects. Turn items with metal fasteners inside out. Call authorized servicer to inspect pump.
