When set to Sparing mode, a preset threshold of coorectable errors is used to trigger fail-over. The spare memory is put online and used as active memory in place of the failed memory. Rank interleaving Configure DDR Rank Interleaving. This improves memory performance by masking the refresh cycles of each memory bank. The Rank Interleaving works between different physical banks.
