COMMON INTERFACE MODULE Common Interface Module COMMON INTERFACE • The Common Interface CI Slot 10 , is designed to accept the Conditional Smart Card Access CA Module coupled with a Smart card, in order to view pay TV programmes and additional services. Please note that CA modules and smart HDMI 2 cards are not included, or supplied as optional extras by us. See fig. 97. WARNING: Switch off your TV before any module is inserted into the Common Interface slot. VOL 1. Correctly insert the CA Module and 8 then the Smart Card into the CI slot located at the side of the TV. See fig. 98. 2. Turn on the TV and press MENU 11 and select the TV submenu. 11 "Common interface" will be displayed if the CA module is detected. Wait for few 12 moments until the card is activated.
