Viewing from different angle (DVD only) Some DVDs may con tain scenes w hich have been shot simultaneously fr om a numbe r of dif ferent angles . For t hese discs, the sa me sc ene can be v iewed from each of these different angles using the A NGLE button. Pr ess AN GLE d uring play, n umbe r of an gle being played will be display ed in t he scr een, pre ss the butto n to ch ange to diffe rent a ngles. Initial Settings Once t he init ial programming is entere d it is retained in mem ory u ntil changed, the player can alw ays be oper ated under the sam e conditions. The settings will be retained in t he memory until the setting s are changed even after setting the player to th e standby mode. Common procedure for initial settings 1.P ress S ETUP butto n. 2. Use the navi gation button s to select p referre d i tem, a nd pre ss ENT ER bu tton, each s creen for setting the value is displayed. E nsure that this player and other equipment to be connected are set to the s tandby mode or off and disconnect t he AC adapt or befo re commencing connection. D o not block v entila tion ho les of equip ment a nd arr ange t hem s o that a ir can circul ate fre ely. R ead through the instructi ons before connecting ot her equipment. E nsure that y ou obs erve t he colo r codi ng wh en con nectin g audi o and video c ables . NO TE: D uring DVD p lay, th e TV v olume may b e at a lower level th an du ring TV broa dcasts , etc. If this is the case, adjust the volume to the desired level. I f the D VD/VC D/CD player is con necte d to th e TV th rough a vide o cassette r ecorde r, t he pict ure may not be played back nor mally with some DVDs. If this is the case, do not c onnect the player via the VCR.
